2027.R1 - Academics - Early Bird Rate (closes Dec 20) – $460.00
* Grants access to the conference's academic sessions and social events.
* Includes an individual BALAS membership (USD $70; valid through December 31 of the conference year).
* Eligible to submit and present a paper, subject to review and program space.
2027.R2 - Academics - Regular Rate (closes Feb 4) – $520.00
* Grants access to the conference’s academic sessions and social events.
* Includes an individual BALAS membership (USD $70; valid through December 31 of the conference year).
2027.R3 - Academics - Late Rate (no presentations allowed) – $820.00
* Grants access to the conference’s academic sessions and social events.
* Includes an individual BALAS membership (USD $70; valid through December 31 of the conference year).
* Late registrants may attend as observers only; their papers will not be included in the program.
2027.R4 - PhD Students - Early Bird Rate (closes Dec 20) – $165.00
* Grants access to the conference’s academic sessions and social events.
* Includes an individual BALAS membership (USD $70; valid through December 31 of the conference year).
* Available to ACTIVE DOCTORAL STUDENTS ONLY; post-doctoral fellows and inactive/paused doctoral students do not qualify.
* Early bird rate available only until December 16th.

2027.R6 - PhD Students - Late Rate (no presentations allowed) – $515.00
* Grants access to the conference’s academic sessions and social events. Includes an individual BALAS membership (USD $70; valid through December 31 of the conference year).
* Available to ACTIVE DOCTORAL STUDENTS ONLY; post-doctoral fellows and inactive/paused doctoral students do not qualify.
* Late registrants may attend as observers only; their papers will not be included in the program.

Special Note

Authors and presenters must register and attend the conference for their names to be included in the official conference program.

Cancellation Policy

Cancelations received up to 30 days before the start of the conference will be subject to an administrative fee of $25 USD. Cancelations received within 30 days of the start of the conference or no-shows will be subject to a cancelation fee equal to 100% of the registration fee.

Photography and Video

By registering for the BALAS Annual Conference and Doctoral Colloquium, you agree to be photographed and filmed by the conference organizers or their authorized agents for the purposes of documentation, promotion, and dissemination of the conference activities. You also consent to the use of your image and voice in any media platform related to the conference, such as websites, social media, newsletters, podcasts, or videos.

Conference Dinner Tickets

Conference dinner tickets provide access only to the Gala Dinner event for guests of conference attendants. Dinner guests do not receive conference materials and are not allowed to attend any academic session.
