Publications & Resources

A part of the mission of BALAS is to provide publishing outlets for our members as well as increasing scholarly awareness of the region. To this end, at each annual conference BALAS publishes a Proceedings which includes the papers presented. For the 2012 Annual Conference in Rio de Janeiro the Journal of Business Research and Academia, Revista Latinoamericana de Administración will both publish special issues with the best papers of the BALAS 2012 conference.

Please contact the BALAS executive offices at Seattle University for information on obtaining copies of these publications.

In addition, selected papers from the annual conference are frequently compiled into special editions in leading academic journals. In 2010, a selection of papers from the finance tracks of the 2010 conference in Barcelona was edited by Maximiliano González and Luis J. Sanz and published in Academia, Revista Latinomericana de Administration, #45. Click here to see a summary of the articles included in this issue.

Academia

Through a special arrangement with the highly regarded Journal of Business Research, papers from recent BALAS conferences were compiled in a special edition that was published in 2009 (Vol. 62, #9).
